About Position Size Limits

If you run a strategy on Collective2, we are required by regulators to limit the sizes of positions and trades for certain futures contracts that you can place inside your Collective2 Model Account.

These size limits only apply to strategies with AutoTraders.

Size restrictions are imposed only when you try to increase position size (we do not restrict closing or reducing of positions). Position limits will vary by contract, and by trading strategy (specifically, by the AutoTrade volume following a strategy). Size limits change over time, as market conditions change.

These limits have been imposed on us by the CME, due to regulations supervised by the CFTC. Each trading strategy has different size limits. You can see the size limits of a particular strategy that you manage by going to the URL: https://collective2.eu/maxPositionSizes/142734695
